Customer

This feature allows you to create a new customer for your site, edit, adjust store credit, view store credit history, reset password, remove customer, view customer group list, search, and import/export customer/s.

Create a new Customer

To create a new customer, 
1. From the Administration menu, click on the Customer option

2. Click on the + Create button on the top right side to create a new customer.

3. Enter all the customer information:

  • First Name* and Last Name
  • Select Gender from Drop-down button
  • Email*
  • Company Name, ABN and Address*
  • Country, State, Post Code and Suburb
  • Mobile/Phone number
  • Status (Active/Inactive) from drop-down button
  • Fax
  • Customer Group Name
  • Shipping Profile
  • Newsletter
  • Password*

4. Select Customer Group(s) – You could choose Member, Partner, Retail or Wholesale Customer Group (Customer Groups made by default). If you wish to add a new Customer Group, the details will be described further in ‘Create a new Customer Group’

5. Click on Save button (Either from top right or bottom left side)

Edit an existing Customer

To edit an existing customer information: 
1. Select a Customer Name from Customer List (Administration > Customer)

2. Under Actions column, click on Gear Icon for the selected Customer Name for whom you would like to edit

3. Click on Edit from the list

4. Insert information by clicking on the box which you would like to change or edit for that selected Customer

5.    Click on Update button at the bottom

Adjust Store Credit for an existing Customer

To adjust store credit history of an existing customer or give credits to customer: 
1.    Select a Customer from Customer List (Administration > Customer)

2.    Under Actions column, click on Gear Icon for the selected Customer Name for whom you would like to add or deduct Store Credit

3.    Click on Adjust Store Credit from the list

4.    Select Add to give Store Credit (AUD $) to a Customer or ‘Deduct’ to receive Store Credit from a Customer by clicking on Drop-down button

5.    Insert Store Credit amount in AUD$ to add/deduct amount on total purchased order of a customer and write a note (Reason for Store Credit given to a customer)

6.    Click on Update to save settings

View Store Credit History and Remove a Customer

1.    Select a customer from the Customer List (Administration > Customer)

2.     Under Actions column, click on Gear Icon for the selected Customer Name for whom you would like view store credit history or remove a customer

3.    Click on Store Credit History to view Credit history of a Customer

4.    Click remove to delete a customer

Reset Password for a Customer 

To reset password of a customer:
1.    Select a customer from customer list (Administration > Customer)

2.    Under Actions column, click on Gear Icon for the selected Customer Name for whom you would like reset password for a customer

3.    Click Reset Password

4.    Type and retype new password and then click on Reset button to save new password for a customer.

Search Customer

To search any existing customer: 
1.    From the Administration menu, click on the Customer option

2. Go to Search in the Customer List then type customer name in the search box and click search button or press enter

Advanced Search

1.    Click on the + sign magnifying glass, for advanced search.

2.    Insert information like Customer Name, Email, Suburb, Country, Mobile or dates for Customer created then click on Search button

Import and Export customer 

Import Customer

When you are in customer page:
1. Click on Actions button from the right top corner on the customer list and select Import Customer

2. Select Excel sheet file which you would like to upload by clicking and browsing file and then click on Upload button(All Column titles will be required to be filled to import data on your WebCommander Customer database)

Export Customer

From the customer page:
1. Click on Actions button from the right top corner on the customer list and select Export Customer

2.    Select options like Active Customer or All Customers and also Toggle Off some Export Fields which is not required to be exported and click on Export
