Version History

As a WC partner, it is important to keep track of the version history of your plugins and templates. Currently, there is no section available to view the version history, which can make it difficult to track changes and progress.

With the new Version History feature, partners will be able to view the version history of plugins and templates along with the submission and approval/rejection dates. Partners will be required to follow a specific version naming convention “Version {Version Number}” where the Version Number will be a float number.

In addition, partners will be able to perform the following actions:

  • Send and receive messages for a particular version submitted
  • Resolve discrepancies on a rejected version file by submitting a corrected or updated source file and providing details or comments in text format using the text editor.

Partners will also be able to view all messages with username, date & time, as well as the total number of messages.

To access the Version History section, partners need to navigate to the plugin or template details page and click on the Version History tab. Here, they can view all the versions submitted along with the dates, messages, and status of the submission.

With the Version History feature, partners can keep track of all changes made to their plugins and templates and resolve any issues more efficiently.
